Your Countertop Installation Starts Here
To make your installation day as smooth and efficient as possible, please take a few simple steps to prepare your space before our team arrives:
Clear the Work Area
Remove everything from your countertops, including small appliances, dishes, and decorative items. Clear out drawers or cabinets near the installation zone and store belongings safely away from the workspace.Create a Clear Path
Our team will be carrying heavy stone slabs, so please ensure there is a wide, clear path from the entryway or garage to the installation area. The fewer obstacles in the way, the quicker and safer the process.Protect Nearby Items
Cover or move furniture and valuables near the workspace. While we take every precaution to protect your home, dust or minor disturbances can occur. Using plastic sheets or covers is recommended.Check Plumbing Access
Turn off the water supply to your sink, if possible. Know the location of your main shut-off valve, just in case we need to access it during plumbing disconnection or reconnection.Plan for Temporary Disruption
Your kitchen or bathroom will be temporarily out of use during installation. Have meals prepared and essentials like cups or paper plates handy. Most installs take 4–6 hours, depending on project complexity.Keep Pets and Children Safe
For safety reasons, keep pets and young children away from the work zone. Stone materials are heavy, and tools are in use — having little ones occupied in another area is strongly advised.
What to Expect During Your Installation
While our team installs your countertops, we ask that you remain available for any questions or quick decisions that may arise — but also allow our crew the space they need to work efficiently and safely. Countertop installation demands precision, and unnecessary interruptions can slow down the process or affect the final result.
You’re welcome to observe from a safe distance if you’d like — many clients enjoy watching their new countertops come to life.
Please note that installation involves power tools and minor cutting adjustments, so some noise and light dust are normal. We use dust collection systems to minimize debris, but small particles may still be present, especially during final edge fitting.
